Poinsettia Card
by Elize Gerber
Before starting, download and print the
pattern. Use the picture of the actual card below as a guide when embossing. All embossing is
done on the reverse side.
Method
- Place the pattern under the parchment paper and hold in position with sellotape. Trace the
entire design using Tinta White Ink.
- Trace the fold line with the White Pencil.
- Emboss flower leaves first with Hockey Stick and then the tip of every leaf with the Medium
Ball Tool. The parchment paper will turn varying shades of white depending on the pressure you
use.
- Emboss the leaves with flock movements from the centre using the Large Embossing Tool.
- Score the fold line with Medium Ball Tool.
- Perforate with 2-needle and/or Straight Four Tool along the edge of the pattern, as shown on
the card.
- Cut V shapes into the 2-needle perforations.
- Fold card.
